Actors are needed for Bard in the Burbs' upcoming production of Jane Austen's Persuasion, an adaptation directed and written by Michelle Ho, co-directed by Sean Ogren, and stage managed by Franklin Williams.

Auditions are set for Saturday, July 12th @ 3:00pm and Sunday, July 13th @ 5:00pm at:

Callbacks, as needed, will be held on Tuesday, July 15th @ 8:30pm. 

Please note that this show is non-equity and there is no pay.

Performances for Persuasion will take place from Friday September 19th thru Sunday September 28th:

  • Fridays & Saturdays at 8:00 p.m.
  • Sundays at 7:00 p.m.

Rehearsals will begin on Saturday, July 19th and will be held Tuesday evenings, Friday evenings (if needed), and Saturday / Sunday throughout the day (all dependent on cast schedules/conflicts). 

Due to limited spacing there are no individual audition slots.  Auditions and callbacks will begin at their start times for all actors and consist of scenes from the play.  Sides and an official audition form will be emailed starting one week prior to auditions. To sign up for auditions:

  • Please send an audition request email titled "Persuasion" to auditions@bardintheburbs.org 
  • Include a headshot and resume with your request.
  • Please let us know a preferred day and time from the list below for your audition. We will accommodate as best as we can.

    • Sunday July 13th @ 6:30pm
